Event Details
Back 2 School Basics, hosted and organized by the Christian Center of Park City, meets the needs of Summit and Wasatch county families by relieving some of the financial burdens of back-to-school shopping.
Each participating child receives a $100 gift card to spend at Outlets Park City, a new backpack, and school supplies of their choosing. This program is supported by volunteers who give of their time, donors who sponsor children, and by grant funding.
Live Like Sam will be hosting an informational table at Back2School Basics. Volunteers with Spanish language skills would be a huge plus!
Volunteers may select from the following shift options between August 6-7:
Volunteer Shift Opportunities DAY 1:
Tuesday, August 6, 2024, 10 am-12 pm
- Entire shift (Includes Set-up to Break-down) 9:30 am – 12:15 pm (2:15hr shift)
Volunteer Shift Opportunities DAY 2:
Wednesday, August 7, 2024, 10:30 am – 6:00 pm
- Entire shift (Includes Break-down) 10:00 am – 6:15 pm (8:15hr shift)
- First shift (Includes Set-up) 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (3 hr shift)
- Second shift – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (3hr shift)
- Third shift (Includes Break-down) 3:30 pm – 6:15 pm (2:45hr shift)
Volunteers receive a Live Like Sam T-Shirt or Hat.
